Young Deaths With Our Dogs

Recommended Posts

so nearly could be contributing to this thread.....and am so very thankful ive got my dog still here....

think if id have lost here a few weeks back....

it would have broken me.

i really feel for you guys

Nah mate...you're made of sterner stuff...what you've been through in the past few weeks would be tougher than any of the canine tragedies I've had to cope with...you'da picked yourself up along with the pieces and coped with it.

I lost a really talented greyhound bitch just the week before Xmas...shattered a foreleg in action...totally horrific...felt numb and physically sick...first thought was to deal with the situation as quickly and humanely as possible...and there was certainly a cloud over the festivities in our house...that lifts though and things get back to normal...

Your situation with your wee bitch is one I would have struggled with more and probably one I wouldn't have had the balls for...you're having to deal with that every day...and it could feasibly be something you'll have to consider every day for the rest of the wee dog's life...

That's a truly demanding situation... All the best...Colin.

Lost a Wheaton x bitch slipped her on a fox obe night and had a big battle wit the fox , ! Dog and the game where locked jaw to jaw and the bitch was game and done her job well , got her home and washed and injected the bitch put her down to bed and got up next morning and she was dead! Her tongue was swollen in her month due to the fox go straight through it! It was washed out wit salt and water the night before but the vet said the infection due to the Bactria in the foxes mouth caused massive swelling ! Rip sue !

This was a bitch I lost not so long ago and she was only just over 2 years old,a cracking little bitch that always did me proud and caught a lot of gear in her first season, plenty of lads seen her run and everybody enjoyed watching her run,a real fast runner with a deadly mouth,i had nursed her through a bad injury and had her bang on to start the season and took her out on cotherstone moor for a good stretch and she broke her neck in a freak accident, she died in my arms and I was f*****g devastated as was my lass and boys when I got home and told them, she was the sort of bitch that was a joy to be around and was boss of my lot,a real character and very much missed
nice looking bitch what was her breeding pal
