There should be a minimum percentage turnout requirement for election results to stand, if theres a turnout of say less than 25% a non political org is put in place to run the country.

I honestly don't know what would happen, do you? I do know however what will happen when you go and vote in your knights in shining armour...... This same topic in 10 years time don't be afraid to stand alone and what you believe in, it really isn't as scary as you'd think

 

 

Here's what could happen, the majority of the British people don't vote as you suggest, the minority continue to do so and we still have faceless useless politicians telling us what to do only doing the minorities bidding.

Or how about all the muzzies sieze the opportunity and get as many of their bretheren as possible into positions of power whilst we sit back with total apathy, you'll be a damn sight worse off and have sharia law and the likes in jig time.

Baw for god's sake, you called us sheep which was obviously a tongue in cheek insult, I responded to by calling you a headless chicken, meaning you're following your path without a clue as to the consiquences, again a tongue in cheek insult. It was all a bit of banter I thought. But then you took the stance I knew you would by completely ignoring the points I was making and focussing on telling me that I don't know shit because I'm too young to. It's got nothing to do with feeling more secure. It has to do with who gets the most votes. The "couldn't be arsed to vote" party is never going to get into power is it? So while we're effectively voting for them, the Green Party or some shite will get in. Or more probably something far far worse.

But get this, one thing is certain, it would shake up the system which has got to be a good thing right? I can't see into the future, I'm making educated decisions. I can only see things getting worse from not voting, it's that simple and nothing you have said has changed my mind. If it made logical sense I'd be right by your side. Worse case scenario, they are weak and selfish like the rest and nothing changes, best case they stand by what they say and this great nation once again rules the waves. Yours could shake things up, equally they could make things a hell of a lot worse which I believe more likely.
