Malt 379
Another thing, it amazes me how you can grasp the fact that united we stand, divided we fall but can't see it regarding politics. If everyone voted for one party it would terrify the politicians, all of them, even the ones that won. Why? Cos the people would be united, we'd be one force to control. Right now your all bickering vote ukip, vote Tories, no my grandad worked in the pit I'm a labour diehard. Divided we won't conquer nothing and they know it. If we all stood as one, they wouldn't get away with half the shit but alas...... Don't vote, make a difference. If you can get 70,000,000+ people swimming in the same direction Baw, I'll join you as well.. Any ideas on where to begin..? Ran out of likes!
baw 4,360
Baw. I see what you are saying - in theory. If no-one AT ALL voted, you're correct, the system would fail. But it's not going to be like that is it? Say 75% of Britain are pissed off right now and that 75% don't vote. The 25% who are pleased with how tickedy-boo everything is going will not only win, but unanimously. We would have people we didn't want in power in every single constituency in the land. How can that be better? surrender_5.jpg If the majority of the country turned there backs on the system it would fail. The government would panic. Every leader needs people, even saddam Husain needed people, forced them yes but still needed them. I find it remarkable that you lot genuinely think we don't have a choice but to continue this charade. It's simple for me, forget all the choices of parties, you have a simple choice whether to vote and continue with this pish or don't vote and try and bring change to the system which clearly isn't working. If an alien came down and seen how these guys live, taking most of our hard end, forcing us to live like dogs while they live like kings, not caring one jot about us, then saw you lot going to vote them in, the alien would think you were enslaved and guess what, he'd be right voting for aliens is not an option then As long as they're green and liked bananas

baw 4,360
Baw, how do you not understand what I have said. If we all don't vote, the only fuckers left voting will be the enemy!!!! FFS! There are two ways of getting what you want in this world, democratically or opressively. We live in a democracy, so unless you have an military capable and with the balls to take on Her Majesty the Queen's we have to keep voting! It won't work because people who vote always will. You see us who don't vote as the problem, us you. The good thing about my side of the fence is I can see what voting does, I don't want to vote in these low life criminals..... Whereas your brainwashed into thinking your voting in change..... Just out of interest, how many years have you been voting in change? You happy? I'm 25, so not very long! You still haven't addressed my point about your great idea? If all us that want change refuse to vote, what do we do about the ones left voting that don't want what the rest of us do? You find it really easy to knock the democratic way of doing things but have no thought about the consiquences of what you suggest? Can't get any worse.............. feck me it could! Ok sigh....... If let's say only half (35 million) voted no confidence, then that 35 million would be a solid voice. The other 35 million who voted would be fragmented like they are the now with only a small majority voting in the winner. Now, that solid force even though they didn't vote would have a say on how thing run. Can you imagine for example 35 million deciding not to pay there taxes etc etc? In a smaller scale I saw this happening with my club Celtic (ohhh FFs, from aliens to Celtic) my club was getting run into the ground by the whyte etc. the fans revolted and f****d them out. baw 4,360
Just the same, they take your money, promise the world then pocket it, run it into the ground. Pretty much what you see if you look around you. I'm self employed so its easy for me to bump the vatman, tax man etc. wouldn't even need to do that. Just protests like we seen with the fuel protests, people driving on motorways slow, distrusting the whole country. But as you say, it'll never happen cos your all sheep you keep voting in your chosen leader and ill keep waiting till you've had enough.....
Born Hunter 17,825
So, in essense you have no idea what to do other than to stop voting. Which as a few have pointed out, would only leave those that don't agree with us to continue voting............. thus making things worse. If we're all sheep, you're the definition of a headless chicken! Edited May 28, 2013 by Born Hunter

baw 4,360
aye baw but not voting does not mean no goverment. nothing would change.or do you think they would just go "oh well thats it and lock the doors and go home" country grinds to a halt! it would carry on regardless.im afraid the only way to get shot of them once and for all.would be force backed by the military, and even then you will still have the elite. I honestly don't know what would happen, do you? I do know however what will happen when you go and vote in your knights in shining armour...... This same topic in 10 years time don't be afraid to stand alone and what you believe in, it really isn't as scary as you'd think

Everyone on here votes bar me, all ages, ask them if they're happy where they are right now with the system?

Always strikes me as an act of desperation when in a debate one party focuses on discrediting the individual rather than his argument............
