Jasglo68 11
Hello Gonna go and get a hawke panorama 4-12x50 ir ao tomorrow but I can't decide which reticule to go for so any feed back would be greatly recieved. It's going on my .177 hw97kt which will mainly be used for FT /HFT and paper target shooting although I may use it for hunting occasionally. I have MTC scopes on my other two rifles and fancy a Hawke for a change. Any positive or negative views welcome . Cheers Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
I have the milldot one but if I buy again I might go for a sidewinder Quote Link to post
dtw 42
I'd go for the half milldot, more flexable than the map 6. Quote Link to post
Jasglo68 11
What if I threw a MTC Mamba lite 3-12x44 into the mix ??? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
The half mildot with a .177 mate. The MAP is good but as someone as already said it isn't as flexible as a HMD. Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
I had an original map 6 scope and hated it, I found it too cluttered to be able to really see what I was shooting at. The hawke half mil dot is excellent however, very clear and easy to use by comparison. Quote Link to post
daytyper 52
I have a mtc mamba nice scope very clear But if I was gonna buy again it would be half mil dot Quote Link to post
Pink or stink 162
The Panorama comes in MAP6A, not MAP 6 iirc. The 1/2 mildot in comparison to the MAP6A is cluttered, the MAP6A has fine stadia lines with no dots. 1 Quote Link to post

Very fine stadia as you said and nice and uncluttered. The blue illumination is fantastic against dark backgrounds. Quote Link to post
