Places To Go Ratting In Halifax West Yorkshire?

Howdo,

does anyone know of any places where rats definately live so when im out walking the little fella he will be hopefully picking up the scent.

i know where rats are supposed to live but where have people actually seen them of worked them by rivers woodland ect...

im usure if this has already been posted due to a frozen computer

queens road mate all the dirty takeaways should be a rat or 2 around

try around tips where their waterways ie streams and rivers as the rats will live their and frequent the tip at night,weve had some great sport over the years ferreting them out the banks,also try near farms you will find places were old straw and anything the farmer dont want they will hold a few rats

i live in copley pal the best place to go is down by the canal next to sewage works go down early doors or dusk there everywhere but not all time seems to be hit and miss but i walk my two patts down there regularly and theve had a few i have alot of farms on my books with rat problems but dont take people on them that i dont know as previous experiences have caused me problems atb b

clueless have you got a dog pal if so what sort age and youd be better catching a couple in a cage trap at letting your dog have a good look then let it out and your dog will do the rest atb b

i got a border terrier pal hes nearly 5month.

well get him on them asap with cage trap then when hes seen a few and if any big jobs come up where i need another dog i may pm you but thats not a promise atb b

you got a lot of farms on your books,get the lad a rat or two,meet local to you,then you will see the pup in action,might help you both long term
