snoopdog 1,256
do you not think that they get a bit lazy when runningall dogs diffa mate mine is personally lazy when it comes to road work he trails a few yards behind me not to far but hes always 5 yards or so behind me ....but when in the field far from lazy thats why i find bushing wheres there plenty of rabbits works best for building his stamina up ...as hes working the fields hes always on the move and covering plenty of ground and when he puts a bunny up then you have the sprint side of things .. i do road work maybe 3 or 4 miles a night...and lamping for the sprint side off things aswell all these combined builds he stamina and his sharpness ....he hasnt been tested fully with his stamina side of things yet but this season will tell me what i want to know about the dog ..as he is coming off age for the test a dog needs so you both know the limits ......and most importantly so when you know when your dog has had enough ...all the best snoop.... skycat 6,173
A wise owner makes sure they feed their dog well before runnig it hard: like at least 12 hours before, and they also make sure it has a shit and a piss before they start running. Quote Link to post
