Moneys just money mate, you get a pup, rear it, pay to feed it the best of grub, have your ups and downs, train it to a high standard put in hundreds of hours work walking training and conditioning it, wishing its wee young life away waiting for it to be old enough, the dog pays you back and you get a good one, better than most, and sell it, like I said some of us have different principals.

I don't think it's about principals. The right money could buy anything.

 

To say "money is just money" when offered £8500 for a dog says you are loaded. But I bet £5 million could buy that dog? Does that make you the same as me? Your still selling something you've put all that hard work into. The figure is irrelevant.

Exactly the figure is irrelevant 85 or 8500 selling a good dog is selling a good dog, I'd rather have a good dog than a good car or other material things, I'm far from loaded, I just have different principals. Money can't buy anything, if the big guy oot the green mile came up with the 5 million you speak of lol and asked if he could pump ye for a week would you take it? There's no a right or wrong answer to this argument only your opinion and mine and for me 1 of the most valuable possessions I would want is a good dog, were all different.

A good dog man with high principles would never sell their dog, regardless of price a good hare dog will put money in your pocket in stud fees alone, or a good bitch mated to a top notch dog you'll sell her pups like hot cakes jmo

Snowy was matched for massive money ,and won a lot , and a pup out of her at the time was 1500 , would you sell her lol + she was in a class of her own !
