new room, another floor

Recommended Posts

The dogs have been allowed indoors these last weeks while I build new kennels (with the rain there have been delays). There were no problems generally, all socialsied and house-broken......The grey area for one of my dogs must be "Is the new room currently under refurbishment part of the house?"

They are allowed the run of the hallway and the basement and generally all the upstairs rooms are closed. The new room however wasn't quite closed as yesterday I discovered a faint whiff of ammonia. Sure enough one of the charmers had marked the corner of the room at the torn plastic decorating cover where the piss seeped under the plastic and ruined the new laminate floor!!!! There are none of our things in there and it's generally just the scent of paint.

Needless to say I was less than amused. On telling the wife, her response was "Oh no....Can we have the Oak parquet, instead?"

It's in the back of the truck right now and on the bright side, it was an order that wasn't picked up from the shop and so I got it half price!!!! :big_boss:

Just have to fit it now...............
