Rake aboot 4,935
The only down side to Hancocks is its his business and he hasn't the time to sit and socialise all the pups, so I wouldn't take on an older pup that he often gets stuck with. yeah i'd agree with that . bet some of them 16 week old ones are a right pain in the a*se Mines was 5 months when I took him on. Not something I would advise, but I don`t always take my own advise. No problems with him at all, he was a bit shy, but that lasted about 5 minutes, He is the epitomy of a great socialised dog now. And he works,, well. 2 Quote Link to post

Marvel 469
All the dogs off hancock seem to be racey is that because the collies he uses or is it just a bigger percentage of greyhound in them. Is there a difference between border collie and meril collie and dose he have any straight border greys? sorry if it's been asked before atb Marvel Quote Link to post
birddog 1,354
thanks for the comments guys , 'rake' maybe your dogs socialisation is a wee bit better cos he was going to keep his brothers and they all got a little more attention, 'marvel' they're not all racey some are real powerhouses, a merle collie is simply a border collie in a different colour, you should give them a bell regarding 1st cross pups, there are a few belters up so far guys keep them coming, Quote Link to post

littlefish 585
I've considered one from Hancock but would prefer not to have one 'built like a tank'. I'm now thinking more along the lines of grey x collie x whippet. I like the look of Flipper Al's dog. Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
Built like a tank is maybe the wrong worlds..I'm meaning there not weedy and are strong and built for a days work . Quote Link to post
