darbo 4,776
ive not been back since 1989 some dogs back in the day produced some good dogs. i was led to believe some were worked by his son thomas to what degree i dont know. i no little of his dogs these days but some people on here seem to be doing well with them. each man to their own choice. 1 Quote Link to post

Seriously mate - I have "deliberately" had 4 from him now...I'm sure that 100% of the folk who have gone to buy a Hancock have gone there deliberately...I never ended up there 4 times by accident...that's a really strange question???? And I would go back again? Hoping to breed my own in future but if that doesn't happen I'd happily go back... 5 Quote Link to post
paulf 820
it prob did come across as strange, like i said not knocking anyone but what meant was you here people slagging him off but lads and lasses still go to him so he must be doing something right Quote Link to post
zx12edge 1,001
This one is out of Hector Had a little bitch out of tweedle dum but broke her neck a couple of years ago at two and a half years old.If I needed another dog One of Hancocks dogs would do for me, but then again i aint no super hunter just like a decent pot filler with collie in the mix and you can trust hancock that it is what it says on the tin 8 Quote Link to post

And i think the taffy 3/4 breds did throw a few handy fox dogs back in the day. Good pics thanks for sharing Cheers Atb Quote Link to post

Dewclaw69 484
nice to see some good said about hancock bred dogs. best dog i've ever seen was bred by him and owned by a mate of mine in the 90's. heart of a lion and never jacked at anything 3/4 gh / collie and clever as you like. the lad had her as a pup and put masses of time into her. dont think hancock's doing anything different now to what he did then but preferences in general now seem to be for bull x's . shame. 1 Quote Link to post
Big bald beautiful 1,231
The only down side to Hancocks is its his business and he hasn't the time to sit and socialise all the pups, so I wouldn't take on an older pup that he often gets stuck with. Quote Link to post
