hi i owned one and its defo a great guardian,it was 8 months pup i brought it and that night it stayed at me girlfriends,the next morning when i came to the house he wouldn't let me in ,he was going mad at the door,she had to come and put him away for me to come in.thats after eing there one night,was athletic and was able to move for a big dog.

a friend of mine lived in south Africa for 25 years. nice old fella that i could listen to all day. i asked him about the boerboel and he said they were great kaffa dogs! he had one crossed with a German shepherd and said no one got on his property. mind you if they did it was not the dog they needed to worry about lol

A mate of mine that grew up in capetown had one that royally f****d up a few intruders!! Said even his lab x turnt demonic if a person of a certain colour tried getting through their gate.
