Were To Put Harris Flight

Recommended Posts

just wondering , were to put my new pen for a female harris. there is room at the side of my dog kennels and runs. would you guys put it there?. and if so would you let the hawk see the dogs, or board the side off. my dogs are rock steady and have all worked with hawks before. do you think the hawk would be stressed if she could see them. cheers browner.

a flight needs to be out the way of prevaling wind, thats the main decision for me when building an aviary. but i wouldnt see a problem with letting her see the dogs. although in the first few weeks or so hawks can be scared to death of dogs so i would probably board off and introduce her to them steadily

taken on board mick, was going to do a half wire roof, so she can have boeth shade and sun when she wants. one other question this area has a concrete floor what would you advise as the best covering for the floor. all the best browner.
