A1WOC 212
Hi Darryl, The new Walther LGV could be what you’re looking for. When I tried one in my local RFD it was super smooth and very quiet too. I was tempted but opted for the 97kt because it was a lot shorter in length. Regards, Steve Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
Theoban evolution I reckon mate or an AA S510 if going PCP. Phil Quote Link to post

Regards, Steve With all due respect mate I find the Walthers absolute crap..... I worked on 3 different rifles literally a few weeks old after the first tin of pellets had been put through and they were twanging like a twangy thing twangs! The grease when stripped ran out like a grey liquid and the finish on the working parts was awful. For the price they were asking at the time of new I knew there were better rifles out there so that definately off the cards Darryl 1 Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Hows about an SLR, Darryl? It's been already mentioned in this thread, I know but if you're after something a bit different then why not? It's the best rifle (non PCP) that they ever made, IMO. Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
could definately be worth a look Andy mate, cheers Darryl Quote Link to post
AR177 588
one of the new FX bullpups mate, they look very nice would love a review of one of those! Edit: Or get Adi to make you a bespoke 1 of a kind rifle ATB Adam Edited May 25, 2013 by AR177 Quote Link to post
RiverRomper 15
In Britain or Europe you might be able to find a Weihrauch HW55 with aperture sight and no safety for a reasonable price. A handy little fun gun. A Benjamin Marauder in .25" would also be interesting. This is the air gun that is making the Yank powder burners look at air guns. The Green Mountain barrel in .25" is supposed to be accurate. Would purchase only if you could get one cheap in the UK. Ted from Madison of EDGUN on you tube did a video on the Benji Mrod. Peace, hope this helps, RiverRomper Edited May 26, 2013 by RiverRomper 1 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
The Feinwerkbau Sport was truly a great air rifle and the first to give us a stylish, classical hunting-rifle look with consistent power and a very accurate barrel. I wish to God I never sold mine. Definitely one to look out for Darryl and with your restoration skills, you could find yourself shooting an absolute sweet classic. I think you'd honestly love one mate. Simon Quote Link to post
