Cleanspade 3,324 Posted May 25, 2013 Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 in organised hunting the land was managed to encourage wildlife (hares) where keepered. and then there would be beaters set up to drive hares toward the coursing fields. unorganised coursing you would just tend to walk up hares with your dogs hope this goes some way to answer Quote Link to post
