mexlad 189
http://news.sky.com/story/1095396/female-zoo-worker-killed-in-tiger-attack Rip to the poor lass but why do they think they can go in the enclosure with them, no matter how many times they have done it they can and do still turn on humans, the keepers seem to think they are like dogs. The Seeker 3,048
Very tragic but I hope the tiger isnt PTS for this, it amazes me how people become complacent working with dangerous animals RIP to the young lass and sympathy to her family but this didn't need to happen. cammy12 176
rip to the lass, i have feeling she might of been a bit of a bunny hugger and thought she would be okay in there either that or she watched lion man once too often
Carraghs Gem 1,675
I would never go into any enclosure with a big cat, ive been up close with lions and to tell the truth some are docile creatures with humans and others only tolerate their keepers... Ive been up close and personal with a lioness in the gambia that was more like a domestic moggy in temperament and ive been a bit too close to a lioness that took an instant dislike to me and wanted to kill me on sight in blackpool zoo when i was on work experience feeding the big cats
Guest norseman
poor girl what a shame, as for animals that are bigger, more powerful and could easily kill you, feck that. I wont get into a field if I spot a bull im feared of the buggers. a farmer near me was gored to death only 2-3 weeks ago.

Yes especially if you have a dog with you...that seems to cause quite a few deaths by cattle
Malt 379
What a shame, but WTF was she thinking? I read a news article about it earlier where the owner of the park said the tiger won't be destroyed. It was a Sumatran tiger which had lived there for 10 years, ever since it was a cub. The staff were explicitly told and trained NOT to go into the enclosure while the tigers were in there..
Carraghs Gem 1,675
Aye wtf was she thinking is right... Definately one for the darwin awards
LaraCroft 863
I am glad the tiger isn't going to be PTS over it. I can't believe staff really need to be trained and told *not* to go in with essentially wild tigers. Surely common sense would prevail.
