Fighting

My two ferrets have started scrapping cant understand why . . They get plenty of food n water and theyve got a huge hutch . It isnt play fighting either . . There two years old and have been together from kits (there sisters) . Ive split em up for now . . Bin split up a few days and both calmed down so thought id put them in the run together to see if it continued and it did . .any one no whats cracking off ??

i'd say it's hormones mate. they can be aggressive in our eyes but it's not as bad as you think. i'll hazard a guess that both haven't been neutered or mated this year. one or other will solve the problem the former would be better because aren't that easy to get rid of.

Is one dragging the other to the bed by her neck? if so jill jab or castrated hob will solve this fella

I had all mine brought out of season but one carried on as if she was in season. She was dragging one of the others around by the neck. I got her jabbed again and that sorted out the problem. If you looked at her she had no swelling so did not look she was in season, the only sign was the dragging of the other ferret. I had the same problem with her last year and the second jab sorted it then also.

Exactly what will putting a castrated hob in with them solve???????
