If you want a kid, you should be made to prove you can pay for it

No one knows what's around the corner pal I had a steady fulltime job worked there for 5 years and had my 2 eldest while working there so I was in a postion to provide for them then the place went down hill and laid off ne on 30 people unluckily I was 1 so then I turned "scum" claiming the dole for 6 months.I then got a temp job after sending cv after application form after cv I was there 3 months, while I was there as I knew it was only sick cover I was still applying for a permanent job, I finished that on the tues and started another job on the wed and I was there 12 months, were me and my partner had our lad. they promised you everything until you hit the just short of 12 month mark then the under handed fcuks Fcuked me over. Little did I know this was a common trate with them and in 12 months they churned out 15 people while I was there.Since then I've done agency work but when you have a family to support then you can't be promised 3 - 6 months work and end up with 2 - 6 weeks then weeks with out so in cases you can see why some people stay on the dole as it is a safety net for them.To day I hope will change all this as I have an appointment with a business planer / helper to start my own business
The jobcenter have a scheme where by they will pay you £66 per week for the first 26 weeks when you start your own business, the council will also give you some council tax rebate for a period of time

Like I asked,, how so   Some of these people have seen nothing different all their life, they were born into shit lives, and live shit lives,, so is it their fault ?   To an extent, maybe, but rea

That kid who was having a go at his mum the week before needs a punch to the teeth, horrible little c**t!!!

at school there was a stunning blonde who EVERYONE fancied, her brother was the second hardest boy in our year lol and had girls swooning at his feet, the youngest brother was the hardest in his year

Dont think the bloke selling chicken out of his car boot had heard of the enterprise allowance scheme

Had to feel sorry for some of those kids last night though all they need is a chance and shown theres a better way

Hopefully things young girl will look up now she has a new flat , though you cant help but feel that her boyfriend will drag her down :censored:

Aye you're right there mate  prime example me at the start of this year, got myself a job gardening for a local garden centre, promised "as much work as you want, 12/14 days if you fancy" over the summer period. In reality because it was a 'zero hour contract' i did two shifts the first week, then wasn't called upon again for another 2 weeks where i did 2 and a 1/2 hours tidying the car park at Mecca Bingo :icon_eek: it got to the point where i was better off on the dole! Seeking assurances that work would soon come my way i found my employer to be ignoring my texts and calls and wouldn't answer the door when i knocked (he lives on my estate).

So i had to go back down the dole office to sign back on even though to this day i'm technically employed, i haven't heard a peep from the prick and had no P45. So i had no income for about a month, then the dole took another two weeks to come through all because this tosser had sold me down the river with promises of work. f*****g disgraceful. He's alright though in his BMW and 5 bed house eh :censored:

Thing is to start the job i had nearly £150 worth of work clothing bought for me by the job centre to get me started, and i barely did three shifts in them! Anyway my adviser has been in contact with some other woman who deals with businesses direct and she's said the garden centre took on another two staff, one lass in the cafe and another as a PA in the office. The lass in the cafe has had one shift and nowt since, and the one in the office got asked to work for nothing!!! :icon_eek: is he running a business or a circus?? Needless to say the job centre aren't keen to work with him again.

Be nice to earn an honest wage without all the bull shit of zero hour contracts, false promises etc

My eldest son had the same problems, he ended up working for 4 weeks and never got paid a penny, then the job center took 6 weeks to re-start his claim. If he hadn't of been living at home, I dred to think of what he would have had to have done in order to just feed himself. Luckily he is now in a stable position but he still had to do 3 months with an agency before the company set him on.

For whoever said its just northern towns well it definitely is not, I'm just outta north London and there's estates where I live like that and the majority of London is the same. I worked in tower hamlets for a bit changing the power supply's to the lifts in the tower blocks, its like wherever this programme is just with Baghdad levels of violence lol

I do feel for that young girl, she is skating on the thinniest of ice. I seen kids like this all around me from the age of 13 upwards, as I was one of these kids, social services, care homes, homelessness, hostels etc. All this is sucking the hopes and dreams out of them. Nothing to aspire to cept possibility of teenage pregnancy (completing the circle often!) and blurring day into night into day with your drug of choice.

I had a couple of lucky breaks, but when I see these kids.... well glass eye an all that. I hope she gets a lucky break and gets away from that poison.

It's a sad state of affairs but it's all about priorities. I don't have children but if I did I'd be makin sure that they were clothed and fed with a roof over there head. But these folk seem more bothered about buyin fags, beer and massive TVs to play there x box on.

Feel bad for the young girl ,she needs to f*ck that bag of shit boyfriend off for a start.
