the_stig 6,614
Bloody hell, just bumped into 1 on me dog walk, a lad i see few times on the walk ,who walks his labs+ springer, as told before , i though he was taking the piss lol . But feck me i seen it today, it was about 5 1/2 ft high, and it was mad as hell. Bryn was nightmare, ive never seen him go so feckin mad in since i had from a pup which is 6 in sep.H was going crazy good job i got him on the lead, Buck my pup was just copies Bryn, so had them both on the leads. The lad told before watch Bryn with it,because the bloke is a twat, and he would shoot Bryn if killed it.Its a shame really as its a nice walk, the bit i go on is publicB/P , i have loose the dogs before few sheep there but my 2 are great with sheep no prob. But Bryn wont forget this bloody thing i know that, he will bloody look for it i know him .Iwill either have to go some where differnt,or keep him + Buck on the leads to be safe, because if he shot Bryn, even though i might be in the wrong, it would be very bad for him, i'll leave it at that no pics didnt have no cam or mob on me, just 1 crazy collie x grey + daft gsdxgrey pup lol did you see Rod Hull anywhere about  on a roof
BIG G wheton machine 1,594
does it mean its n invasive species if it escapes if so then is it not classed as vermin and fair game?
Simoman 110
does it mean its n invasive species if it escapes if so then is it not classed as vermin and fair game? Erm no, it's just an escapee. Outlaw Pete, cassowary's and emu's are both rattites, but only the cassowary and ostrich need a DWA. Ray, what did you estimate it's weight at?

Outlaw Pete 2,224
Outlaw Pete, cassowary's and emu's are both rattites, but only the cassowary and ostrich need a DWA. Cheers, Simoman. I guess that's because ~ last I remember seeing one, for real, it did appear a lighter sort of bird. I suppose it would be covered by much the same laws as, eg. Guinea Fowl then? And f**k knows what law that is! Think I'd give the thing a wide birth. There's no happy ending to a situation like that, in my experience. Holiday season's coming up. Just leave it till some city slicker and their Husky happens along. Let them deal with the fall out
