that was what I thought of too- don't see why it needs to be a pure Teckel, a teckel 'type' that had the same qualities could be just as good?

Maybe it could Spec... But it ain't me who is after the stud, so if you know any with cross bred Teckle stuff, let me know an i'll pass the info on.
