Guest SHOT
ive always done away with those car lighter connections, ive had at least three of them melt on me whilst out. the light force are far superior to anything else out there as far as lamps go imo so whats a bit of wiring . if i had to buy another tommorrow changing the wiring would be the first thing i did. inan 841
Ive got both the clulite and the Light force striker, both good lamps, you say whats a bit of wiring? But why should we all have to f**k about doing it,? They should be "ready to rumble" from the start ,not subject to diy before they are operational, its about time Lightforce sorted this wiring problem out.Inan. Quote Link to post

Nell 1
I have a clulite, with the lamp wired straight to the battery, cutting out the cigar plug and the fuse. Could the same not be done to the Lightforce??? Mine has lasted me 2 seasons now with more than average use, the only thing I have had to replace is the low beam bulb...... Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
After a string of 'early home' episodes cetering around his Two differant models of LightFarce lamps, my mate Dean bought a CluLite. He was so delighted he brought it up here and showed me. I, in turn, was so delighted I bought one myself. I've been out, again and again, with mine. I've been out with Deano and we've both had out CluLites. We only come home when we're completely exhausted! Our CluLite's just keep on, and on, and on doing what we want them to. Straight out of the box. Personally, I could no more 'rewire' something than I could work out an algebric equation. So I buy Quality goods, which don't breach the very essence of the Trade Descriptions Act, when ever I hear of them. Things that simply do that which they're purportedly meant to do. WORK. I'm a straight talking and honest bloke. I'll let ye know if my CluLite ever f*cks up and lets me down. Only don't hold ye breath Quote Link to post

No messin 2
The clulites are a better made lamp, but for running a lurcher at anything other than rabbits I'd buy a lightforce every time and rewire it straight away. For beam quality nothing beats a lightforce. JMO Quote Link to post
highlander 0
I have a clulite and a lightforce lamp hand held and scope mounted one as well far better beam than the clulite but yet I prefer the clulite for bunnys and the light force for shooting foxes  . My hand held lamp is atleast 7 years old and never had to do anything to it apart from put a new cigar plug on it after I lent it to my mate and it was returned broken  . Moorman 1 1,386
Just cut off the lighter connection and replace with two female spade connectors,no inline fuse. And you won't have anymore problems. The less connections the better. Quote Link to post
keg 1
yes lightforce are flimsy for the money we have nothing but problems with ours but they are better them cluelites. we still use a coleman as well the way things are going price ways we will be bringing out the tape again and making our own Quote Link to post
