Neither of my dogs are slow mate. Sal/whip/grey very racy bitch 24" and a 3/4 grey 1/4 Beddy dog 26". The bitch is lighting off the mark and turns on a sixpence. The dog is not so fast off the mark but like a greyhound top end. Both dogs were getting straight lined by the bunnys. I have caught on golf courses on the past but got embarrassed tonight.

I would like to see a whippet on the golf course but I honestly don't think they would cut the mustard. They wouldn't have the top speed once they got in the open and they wouldn't take some of the tumbles my dogs take I don't think. Kai hit a bunker at top speed last night, legs up in the air, thought he was dead for a second.

 

I would be happy to take someone on my golf courses if they want to prove me wrong though.

No doubt mate. And I aren't disheartened. It's how it goes sometimes. I know that golf course bunnys are tough at the best of times. It was as still as a mill pond last night and the promised cloud cover never materialised so they could see us a mile off. We were lucky to get as many good runs as we did.

 

I've only got 2 golf course permissions at the moment. Would love a crack on some nice fields like those Paulus.
