MrsChamp606 553
Hey guys, My oldest jill is around 5 1/2 years old and has always been a good little grafter is showing some strange behaviour. Checked on em earlier and she was lay lifeless at the back of the pen, picked her up and her legs were not working, no life, tried to place her down to check and she wouldn't even hold her own body weight. I thought oh god she must of had a stroke or something, so I gave her some water through a syringe and placed her back into the pen and thought I will check her every couple of hours and see how she goes. Just been back down and she is moving normally. Up the mesh as usual eating and drinking??!! Should I be worried? Any ideas? Cheers Quote Link to post
GreyRake 108
Search up ' insulinoma ' see if the symptoms match. Don't know much about it other than it's quite common in older ferrets and you can try giving them a bit of honey for sugar and an egg for protein to try and perk them up. I think insulinomas sort of like diabetes for ferrets. Quote Link to post
