the_stig 6,614
got an old russell bitch here i`m sure she would survive dont know if any of my others have the brains ....this old bitch worked out years ago that pigeons that came in the orchard would walk away instead of flying so she used to herd then into the corner close to the fence under the apple tree once under there they could`nt fly up -- accounted for a fair few -- terrific marker and not a fussy eater eats apples out the orchard -- she`ll eat blackberries off the bush and even raided my tomato and strawberry plants last year

Ideation 8,216
Mine would be ok, they'd just go from bin to bin On a serious note, I think the hound would be hard pressed. She would do a lot of chasing, and not much catching, and would need to rely on carrion. If the whippet could get over the heartbreak of losing my radiant company, he would survive just fine, I have no doubt. He is a a thief, never stops hunting and will eat anything. Carraghs Gem 1,675
The terrier would be dead within a relatively short period of time, apart from her age shes been spoilt and protected her whole life... The collie is a survivor and has survived harsh winters found her asleep on the lawn the morning after a snowstorm... Didnt see her until she lifted her head from under the snow... Shes a scavenger not much of a hunter but her dam killed and ate everything from frogs to hedgehogs, kittens and rabbits so id say if shes anything like her dam she'll adapt in a survival situation... As for the lurcher he would be on with a 50/50 chance of survival as long as he avoids serious injury He'd catch his own food no problem but is a coward and lacks street smarts... If he was part of a pack he would have better odds as hes a follower not a leader
