Why do people think it was wrong to catch hares on the lamp but thought it was fine to catch rabbits, fox etc on the lamp?   Usually these same people seem to think it was fine to catch breeding an

Get a feckin life thers no rules to this stuff whatever feeds me and the dogs gets catched day or night end of

Hares aren't owned by anyone so day walkers can't talk down lampers in anyway! I won't lamp rabbits because lads ferreting want them , I won't hunt foxes the hunting hounds want them and I won't run deer cause the stalkers want them , no ill run want I need and fell fit to take , yes but and this quarry is killed for a few reasons main one is pest control for farmers so we get permission the next is fun and sport and that's what we all want so don't make lamping hares sounds like your not a real lurcher man cause it don't matter either way the quarry will be either shot or taken by someone else some enjoy while you can is what I say !

I highlighted it wondering if you meant 'lamped' hares HM, because where I live they've always been nearly as hard to kill by night as they have by day.. Big difference between a hare on Altcar and one just north of the border and I certainly ain't decrying another mans means...?

hares preban , day night dogged snared netted trapped were as been said fetching 5 ta 7 quid a piece . Now for those that feel the need to bring a few more quid to the pot , aint to be snivelled at ., i feel today we have the sporting hunters who have notreally felt and see that uaing all ones abilitys to put flesh in the freezer as a must and need . the old saying also applys with taking flesh in ta summer mths flesh and game is to be eaten allyr round , and to some there was neva a closed season .i have seen 30 plus long ears dumped in pit holes by driven shoots , only to be retrieved by said one ,lata on .i believe how one goes about there ways his there biz .personally had a trap and snare line ougt a few weeks now ,the catch will all be used some for us some for the animals .atb bunnys.
