If your asking for peoples views not everyone will agree thats just life. as already said it's nothing personal just how i feel on things .

 

It could have been a good thread.

Just read it on PM...look mate stick it back up...it's an interesting topic...you make some good points...I'm ancient, set in my ways and into my curs...I don't have the experience to talk of salukis and deerhounds but like to read the viewpoint of others... :thumbs:

nothing wrong with that mate the only one x i havnt had out them all is the bull x never been one for foxes had more beddys than any of the rest and a couple of colle crosses and i favour the beddys for the ground i run jmo good luck

tried to answer for you pal in order of what i think each breed in general terms is best at 1 being its best strength i also know this is impossible too as someone's best ever fox/deer dog is probs a whippet x but i've tried to answer based on what i've seen!! It's a long , long time since I've even been on a hunt where a lurcher was present let alone used for drawing.

Using lurchers for drawing has done more harm to fieldsports than all the anti's put together and like I say when someone uses a lurcher at the end it's usually because their afraid to do it themselves.

If you actually knew me you'd know I'm not a fan of this.

i learned that the hard way! i wouldnt want everyone to agree but like i seen if it was based on a certain breed more views would be blasted out there very fast! :)
