Brno Bolt Action Faulty

Hi my old bolt action brno bolt action was firing well at 7 pm tonight on a few bunnies then packed in, the safety won't go on and the bolt looks ok, when you twist it the pin comes out all looks ok but won't click when you pull trigger I've never needed to go to deep into them apart from a clean.

 

Any suggestions before I take it in for repair?

If you go on utube i tshows a strip down and rebuild. If you cant find under bruno look under cz, if you need any parts chambers of scotland and also it will show you a strip down on that site

nor have I, I took into the gun shop yesterday and left for them to repair its the first gun ive broken in 34 years of shooting, so cant complain.

well as an update and a lesson learned, it turns out this gun I bought from a dealer last oct is worn out, in fact the gunsmith asked if the gun had gone off accidentally, I said it hadn't he said I was lucky as the spring holding the pin back had fired and was so warn it wont come back, it needs rebuilding and has to go back to CZ.

 

everyone take note, safety first you never know when a gun could go off..

Wonder how many thousands of rounds have gone through that gun ..? Have you any recourse with the dealer.? Should he have not checked it before resale to make sure it was in serviceable condition .?

Your ticket will prove how much ammo you put through it , unless you have put thousands I cant see why not . Worth a try Phill
