Any one interested in showing their working terriers at our first woodland pytchley hunt terrier show would be more than welcome and the support would be much appreciated, the show is made up of 19 classes and caters for all the main working breeds, the judge is a long serving hunt terrier man, there will be a bar, hot food, trade stands, and point to point racing starting at 5pm, and obviously the terrier racing after the terrier show, the show is a qualifier for the nwtf, edrd, north wales champion of champions, and the north wales entered terrier championships. the show will be held at dingley race course on the A427 corby to market harborough road, Northamtonshire, on saturday the 8th june 2013, judging to start at 1pm, will be great to see you there, thanks for reading, all other details are in the countrymans weekly and edrd, including contact details. post-code (LE16 8PJ)

really hoping the border classes turn out decent, always been a bit small where ever i have been before, invited a few border enthusiasts and they all seem keen, so it would be great to see any one with working borders there.

Class 1. Dog puppy (Any type) 6-12 months.

Class 2. Bitch puppy (Any type) 6-12 months.

Class 3. Puppy championship. Winner of classes 1-2.

Class 4. Lakeland Dog.

Class 5. Lakeland Bitch.

Class 6. Fell type Dog.

Class 7. Fell type Bitch.

Class 8. Border Dog.

Class 9. Border Bitch.

Class 10. Jack Russell Dog. (Rough)

Class 11. Jack Russell Bitch. (Rough)

Class 12. Jack Russell Dog. (Smooth)

Class 13. Jack Russell Bitch. (Smooth)

Class 14. Any Terrier Breed, Unclassed.

Class 15. Cross breed Terrier.

Class 16. Entered Terrier.

Class 17. Veteran. (7 years and over)

Class 18. Child Handler. (Handler under 16 years old.)

Class 19. Championship. (Winners of classes 4-14)

Winner of class 16 qualifies for the following Conwy Valley Hunt show

  • Best Entered Terrier championship 2013.

Champion and reserve champion from class 19 qualify for

  • National Working Terrier Federation.

  • Earth Dog-Running Dog.

  • North Wales Champion of Champions.

also we made a brand new terrier racing kit today and it even works (very well). good job the huntsman can weld because i cant!!!!. the terrier box takes 6 terriers per race, should be a good laugh if nothing else. the terrier racing will follow the championship of the terrier show.

                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner.

      Fell and moorland wtc are holding in there summer show again in good old Lancashire. 
      Get yourself and the family down to support this club. All the cash made gose back to the members if they have a dog stuck and need a rescue. 
      All the usual classes for the terriers and the running dogs. Champion bull X  and child handler for the kids! 
      And Anyone wanting to show there Bedlingtons we have a class for them as well. 
      Qualifiers for champion of champions at the Midlands, Pride of the peaks and more!
