Ratreeper 441
It's not gay people, it's attention seekers that are annoying. The irritating camp men that seem to be fashionable on TV now would be just as annoying if they were straight, but would try and get people looking at them for something else, if they were girls they would be the ones who flirt with every man they see and have their tits out all the time. Being gay today is just not interesting anymore, I think that's why the flamboyant ones are getting worse and worse because they have lost their shock factor and the worst thing that could happen to them is to be normal. I bet 99% of the gay people you meet, you would never know they are gay because why would you? and who gives a shit. The only people who are homophobes are probably gay or feel 'confused' and don't like it, or are a religious nutjob who decide that spreading peace and love means find more people to hate and force to follow their own beliefs.
baw 4,360
To be honest mate I can spot a gay a mile away. As for lesbians, I've only met one attractive lesbian in my life and that was a looooooong time ago.

As for lesbians, I've only met one attractive lesbian in my life and that was a looooooong time ago. Some are obvious, because they want to be that way. But if you believe the statistics that 10% are gay, I can certainly not tell 1 in 10 people I meet are gay, nowhere near. What puzzles me is why are there so many more gay men than lesbians? But if you believe the statistics that 10% are gay, I can certainly not tell 1 in 10 people I meet are gay, nowhere near. What puzzles me is why are there so many more gay men than lesbians? Where did you get those stats from? In the 2011 UK Census; • 1.1 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 545,000 adults, identified themselves as Gay or Lesbian, • 0.4 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 220,000 adults, identified themselves as Bisexual, • 0.3 per cent identified themselves as ‘Other’, • 3.6 per cent of adults stated ‘Don’t know’ or refused to answer the question, • 0.6 per cent of respondents provided ‘No response’ to the question. So realistically 1-2%. Absolute top end 6%.
COMPO 54
i have many gay and lesbian friends, in fact a month ago i was in a gay bar with my wife and a lass i work with and her girlfriend.........it was a laugh a lot more fun than a lot of straight bars where there is an underlying feeling of tension and potential for violence.........my workmate (the lesbian lass) isn't one of the outrageous types that have been mentioned before, just a lass who happens to live with another lass........but who could give a shit.....i don't .............i am assured of my sexuality , i always think people who are homophobic perhaps aren't as assured as i am! Looking forward to the next trip to the gay club ........ it was a bit strange though having communal toilets........

Nik_B 3,790
It's one thing to be a bit disappointed that your son/daughter might not grow up to have kids or lead the same kid of life that you did but those people who make it a massive issue or disown them should be ashamed. Your kids are still your kids and life is too short to get bothered by something like this. But lets be honest I bet if it did happen to most people they'd soon change their tune
