Stabs 3
I was speaking to one of the farmers this morning and we were both commenting on the fact that we hadn't seen any sign of mixy around at all. No sooner had I left him the lurcher has a run on a young un' and when I checked it over it had the very first signs around the eyes. Quote Link to post

Guest Dave
Not seen many round this year, I tend to find if you keep on top of their numbers they dont get it or atleast they are not hit quite as bad as they otherwise might have been. Dave Quote Link to post

Wilky 0
It's wick with it on the golf course near me, a local young lad is cathing them all the time with his terrier, that's how badly effected they are. Yet where we shoot just over the hill there is none. Quote Link to post
Guest chilli
just had a myxi rabbit !!! not wat ya want Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
The main place I go ferreting on doesn’t suffer the myxi’ problem, I won’t say it doesn’t happen there as I did come across one last year with a mild dose!....Where I ferret there is a serious problem with rabbits,…fecking dozens…nay hundreds of them as some of you will recollect from your visits down here but for some strange reason it never gets a grip on the rabbits in the particular area I’m referring to but travel a few miles to the other side of the hill and you will be hard pressed to find a ‘clean’ rabbit!...Sandy areas appear clear and chalk is rife with the dreaded ‘coney pox’! What types of areas do you guys ‘n gals find have the worst problem? Quote Link to post
Guest Doug
Never really went away here this year some areas of healthy rabbits but others always have a few sick ones. I find they seem worst where sheep graze so maybe the parasites weaken them. Quote Link to post
Jordan 1
Its just kicked in round by me in the past 2 days ive killed 5 with it and seen about another 6. :realmad: pisses me off that it happens right at the start of the season. Quote Link to post

Snelly 0
There is a lot of myxy on my ground here in Sussex. Probably something like 1 in 5 conies at the moment. Quite a few have made a recovery, not that it did them much good in the long run though! :11: Quote Link to post
