had a go at copying 'lifelong cumbrian' aka joe's cheap, homemadr longnet basket.

 

 

 

still needs a couple of tweaks....i done it off the top of my head and now realise the front part is more rounded and curved.

 

took 5 minutes to knock up and cost feckall

One of CRs it does work in the field, Cr jut wanted to make a basket that would cost next to nothing.

as i have three of his metal baskets, I use this for swopping nets around and storing pre sets.

yeh i know he is a handy mate to have, just thought the two photos would be helpful to you

i think the bucket CR uses is a thicker plastic.

if you pm him he has the exact measurements to make one.

i got the exact measurements....

 

this bucket is wider by an inch.

 

and yours does look to be thicker plastic....

 

i seen the pics but didnt have them to hand when cutting the drum, hence why its similar but nothing like it
