hi,im new to hunting ive a patterdale terrier 100% and want to get him into hunting,anyone know what i should start off hunting and how to go about it?!?!in uk berkshire

Hi pal,firstly get youself some permission(so your not looking over your shoulder as much),

secondly,get out as much as you can with him on permiision of course,thirdly,make as many friends as you can in the terrier world,then you can't go wrong,all the best and good hunting,

How do you know your terrier is 100% if you are new to hunting what do you mean by he is 100%

I think he means by 100% that he a full patterdale and not a cross breed.

 

Maybe I'm wrong but that's the impression I got.

 

Anyway, best of luck with him, and as already said find some permission and start walking the hedges. Also, try and find anyone local who does some ratting and get them to bring you along.
