Lab 10,979
Well if it pisses down this year that's the end of me rearing pheasants. I'm fed up with the constant battle with the weather. There's enough to worry about without it raining all day nearly everyday...:-(

The rape that was planted didn't take and had to be reset with barley. Its not been a great time to be a farmer.
04fox8 168
They are always full of doom and gloom on the news about our weather / winters, But, There are photos of snow etc that was much worse than we get now. Although last year's rain / floods etc looked f***in' awful for those affected by it. 6' of Snow for 2 Months would be fine, If only we could get 4-6 Months of Heat / Dry through the summer. That said, when it doesn't rain for a good few weeks, everyone wants it to for crops etc. We're never happy.
Astral 253
=( I'm very worried about the state farmers must be in, last couple of summers have been bad, plus the snow killing off so much livestock early this year and now the rain won't piss off to get the crops going. I know a lot of the rape fields have been replanted in the Forest due to failures. I'm sure Monstanto will pop up anytime soon with their super english weather resistant supercrops... after you've signed your soul over to them of course. Unhappy with the way things seem to be going is an understatement, I love the countryside, and support small scale farmers.

There's other factors involved but the weather is one of the main ones. Just feel like your grafting away, all hours in the pissing rain and for what??? Since I've left school and done this job I've never had a proper summer break. All my mates going to BBQ and piss ups and I sometimes have to miss out. Canny get away on a summer holiday in peak time either. Well if the weather don't buck up its ideas ill be letting all that worry slip away and starting my new venture....;-)

Paid 935
At least we are getting the rain now, in spring its supposed to fecking rain, too me, it seems more like a normal year, as apposed to the last few, that have been all over the place with dry springs and wet summers, a wet spring is to me looking like a good sign of a decent summer.
