the_stig 6,614 Posted May 13, 2013 Report Share Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) How do you manage to fly them in the winter when your working with dark mornings and early nights turf em out on a week end to be fair mine never went out much over the winter i had a big flight attached to the front with a landing board on top ..had mine on deep litter over the winter used to clean the top off on a sunday and let them out for an hour light feed then bigger feed at night .. you do put put some hours into them from january to sept/oct time -- i used to show my fancys in the winter and do the racing club shows just to get out n have a pint and a chat ....i cant say i miss it because i`ve still got mates at it so i can get hands on if i need to and i help them all out at holiday times and clocking in ...
