the_stig 6,614 Posted May 12, 2013 Report Share Posted May 12, 2013 how many birds would you need to be fairly competitive at a low local level? you`ll find nothings low level with racing birds these days -- a lot to get right breeding feeding traning .. best introduction is young bird racing you can do alight with a small team -- at the time i packed up i was racing 2 sat clubs mid week club thurs 2 bird and national flying club i raced 40 old birds and 35 young birds -- i lived in the loft -- success dont come overnight but with the right stock --feeding --training your on the right track you cant beat doing it to gain knowlegde pick a good book or a good flyer to learn from to much info can be a bad thing ----in the words of my grandad dont fill your loft full of shite 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
