Outlaw Pete 2,224
You grass like a summer meadow. And then, magically, 'They' spend thousands, if not millions on setting you up in a whole new reality. You vanish. You can't contact your parents. Your friends. Anyone who's ever known you. Ever again. EVER. You just disappear off the face of the earth. And end up with a house, somewhere. A nice, assured, little job. Set of papers. Quiet life. Or; One to the back of the head, in some underground cell in London? Discuss.

Do you think that its possible to disappear on this small island and never be found again, whilst still living a normal life? We have more cameras per populous than any other country in Europe, our phones constantly reveal our position, social media is akin to Sherlock Holmes, were tracked monitored and assessed in every aspect of our daily life, From the money we earn to what we spend it on and where we choose to travel, even how we get there. Our electronic footprint is everywhere. There's a whole host of electronic sniffer dogs willing to track people down for a wallet full of scooby snacks.

ratpackjack 272
They would have to move everything you love aswell as surly if you where to vanish but leave your loved ones behind you would be issuing a death sentence for them this would either bring you back or flush you out maybe if it hit the papers and pretty sure what i have in mind would do just that so the media would inform you of their demise and people who are not thinking straight make mistakes

Outlaw Pete 2,224
Are you talking from experience Pete No. But, I do like a bit of David Morrell! What it is is I once read a book where someone was offered WPP. What actually happened was a knock at the door one night. A 'SWAT' type team burst in. Extremely well choreographed as they rolled out black plastic sheeting. Then forced everyone in the family down onto it before putting a couple of rounds in their faces. All over in moments and total silence. Government wins. Funny. I can't remember a single other detail of that whole book. Not even the title or the author. Never mind the rest of the story line. But, that one scene was so graphic it's stayed with me ever since.
