fret78 87
Hello peoples. I have a hw97kt and I've heard that tuning it will greatly improve it. Where is the best place to have this done and any idea about the cost. Many thanks 1 Quote Link to post

-Lupo- 4
Just buy a V-Mach Kit and put it in. Polish the trigger where the piston hooks in. And also the part of the piston, where it hooks in the trigger. Then you fire about 60 shots of pellets, which are full of polish paste. Then fire 10 normal shots and clean the barrel. Now you barrel is "fitted" for your pellets. After 30-40 shots you'll have really nice groups if you compare it with the groups before. Quote Link to post
porkybella 284
So fire 60 pellets full of polish paste :S Quote Link to post
-Lupo- 4
Really. Many marksmen do it with their rifles. There is a special ammunition with grinding function for that. Its called "fire lapping". There was a thread in our forum, so i tried it. And i compared the results, i was impressed. The group was smaller and it is still. I have about 3000 shots since then. Believe it or not. It's my first springer as I have a RWS LR20 and I have to say that it's pretty great box fresh but I'd like to do a few comps. Muchos gracias amigos Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
Just buy a V-Mach Kit and put it in. Polish the trigger where the piston hooks in. Putting an abrasive in the action the using it under working pressure along with in front of the piston seal and blasting it down the barrel could be asking for trouble in my eyes.... But I suppose it either works or doesn't, however I don't fancy risking a rifle if it doesn't, I'm quite happy hand polishing to get my results. Darryl Quote Link to post
