You Can Fish Anywhere.... Where??

Recommended Posts

pissed off with what seems like a never ending winter i`ve just booked a weeks holiday to kefalos -- i`ve fished off the shore there before early morning but this time i`m going to fish off the pier ,-------------in my flip flops and shorts  just been on ebay looking for a decent telesocpic set up that will fit in my holdall...

Word of advice mate, get the multi part travel rod instead of telescopic, I've got a Maver one nice little spinnig rod and much better than tele scopics, they go down to about 1.5ft long pieces..

Have a good trip mate

I would like to follow that Robsin Green round he gets some nice fishing

Was never a Robson Green fan....but got to say I would love a days fishing with him, even on the local canal....seems to enjoy it to the full, good mix of serious fishing/craic.I think he did a cracking job of presenting fishing to the masses  Couldn't bring myself to listen to his fecking "music" though  they sounded like Pinky and Perky

Hi Mate

Nothing wrong with Devon mate, I love it here.

I'm getting a kayak this year, not tried it on the sea so looking forward to it.. done a fair bit up your way, my parents had a pub in Coombe Martin for a bit, we had a boat and used to go out of Watermouth, some lovely fishing up that way and the scenery with sea right up to the moor is 2nd to none...

Yeh cracking mate. I use water mouth a fair bit and all along that stretch of coast. Hoping to get out a fair bit over the summer so if your up drop me a pm.

I will mate thanks, I've fished off the rocks around the too but mainly on the boat... My old mate, who sadly passed away a few years back, used to fish Ilfracombe pier a couple of times a week..

I'll drop you a PM once I've sorted a Kayak, I've asked Acuspell off here for some advice and I'm going to do his safety course in Plymouth..

The old stretch at Newton Solney on the Trent near Burton. 4 big fields to walk, no fecker around, stick float, hemp & caster, big Chub and Barbel and lots of them.

Dream on Arch, dream on.

Do you know what mate, when I think about it, running a stick through a nice bit of river away from it all is just about as good as it gets lol Edited by NEWKID

You can fish Anywhere in the world, sea, course, fly whatever.. Where would your dream location be.. Have any of you already fished your dream location??

Ive always fancied any sort of big game fishing off a boat and have been on holiday in several places where they do it, but it was just too expensive, and although the wife gave me the green light i just couldnt justify it to myself, will have to stick to my carp syndicate for £150 a year.
