unfortunately Dev the white one will be shit. it;s a scientific fact, sorry.

How could the whites be no use, jus chancey, nowt to do with the colour, they all have the same working history and make up. colour is only cosmetic.

I'm not trying to get at anything, or I would have wrote it, I asked the question as I thought by the way Paulus wrote what he wrote that he had pts a pup for no other reason than he thought it was the runt, I'm not going to get into the argument of is there a runt or not, and after his answer he said it was deformed to me that doesn't mean it's a runt it means it was deformed, and that's what I wrote

Had a little black n tan Lakeland bitch years ago and 1st time she was bred was to a black n tan lakie dog and she through a white pup which turned out to be a complete headcase work wise, hard as nails. The 2nd and last time I bred of her was to a jet black fell dog and again she produced a white pup and again this pup turned out a very hard dog in his work which was his downfall in the end.

Never happened to me personally with black dogs I bred two Russell's one a parson type and a smooth bitch if I remember right a touch of bull back in her line she was as white as snow an he was 95 per cent white and they threw a litter with a black pup with a tan ear me being a young lad didn't know what to make of it until a local genius told me a patterdale must have served her as well only when I got a bit older I realised it must've been a throw back to lakie or fell blood
