White Pups From Black Parents

Recently I have bred a white pup from my blacks, just wondering how many on here have done the same?

there was a tread on here about a year ago a lad bred two blacks and she had 1 white pup and the rest black. must be russell back in the breeding

As above, not just one but both parents must have white in there make up somewhere along the line,white being a resesive gene it must be carried by both the dog and bitch in this case.most black dogs have a touch of bull in them could be from there,or a bit of Russell blood in the mix,i have had it before in the past,

seen a few usually an indication alls not what it seems.more likely some unknown cross breeding back behind your dogs could be anything but not important if the parents do there job

i posted this on another thread last week, i had a cracker of a black bitch that was put to a good black dog, the bitch had 5 pups i still born black bitch, 1 runt black bitch RIP 1 black dog, i red bitch and a black and tan bitch. none of the pups were a patch on either of there parents.

Yea I understand how it happened, was just wondering how many on here have had it. the sire is a bull cross, and there must be a touch of bull or russell in the dam way back.

Just shows you never know whats in them , i mind years ago cousin bought a nice black dog off a well known breeder won a few shows lined a few bitches and was throwing blacks , grissles ,whites etc , Lost it one day when he was out and found it had a fit vet pts

once had a litter of black dogs n some turned out white. they were no use either.
