Traditional Longnets?

Recommended Posts

So, after making my own longnet (out of sheet netting)....

Some great offers for hazel poles and endpins from 2 generous members  ....

Means i have the netting and gear to do a traditional.

But...

What the bloody hell is one

Got a rough idea.... net with a top and bottom line, poles up and top line kept tight by the endpins.....

But thats all i know...

Would someone care to elaborate......please

quick set is all made up and carried in a basket

your traditional net is carried separate from your poles

Top and bottom line are joined with an end pin on each end of the line. Put one end pin walk the net out putting poles in as you go. Get to other end and other end pin in.

I get that
