youcanthide...BANG 1,051 Posted June 1, 2013 Report Share Posted June 1, 2013 once you paid the initial start up costs falconry is really cheap. only have to pay food which like you said isnt even worth thinking about the cost. and if your like me and you save what the hawk caught through the season, during the moult you dont even need to pay for food. charlie caller 3,654 Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Well it sounds like you are commited mate, I would get your buddy to teach you how to make equipment (assuming he makes his) this can save a suprising amount of cash, and is rewarding too, I try to make everything I can myself, there are lots and lots of really good tutorials on the net, the modern apprentice is a good one with lots of info on making anklets to hawk boxes, good luck mate and let us know how its going Quote Link to post
