We lamp most nights and ferret around three or four days a week giro. Digging wether to terriers or ferrets soon ruins them as does stomping about in bramble patches. I found lowa a good boot if I'm honest untill I was told altberg done country boots and not just military ones. I always knew they ws a guy good boot tho its where the army usex to send the squaddiescwith duff feet don't know if they still do though

Fella I know in the Marines has, he's just been recently sent up to Altberg for measuring for a pair.

With travel expenses, hotel etc etc he reckons these boots are costing £800

I went to altberg to get measured for a pair.....

 

After all the faffing about, ended up with a pair off the shelf

 

Cant beat lowas for hard graft......and altbergs for all day/everyday boots.

 

Used to put the lowas on when i was being a 'serious hunter'....

 

But nowadays its my flatcap that takes that job
