Craig Fosse 286
Get some electrical tape mate and put it over the checkering, that way if you accidentally hit the cheering I'll hit the electrical tape instead Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
nice one!! wish someone would just give me a tx!! well done mate. get it sanded down Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Result!! As mentioned above, mask the checkering off if you want to sand it down then Nitromorse it then scrub it out with a toothbrush. Or just Nitromorse the whole thing and take out and damage where needed. Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
Or leave it as it is, and you've a top quality, accurate as hell all weather gun that you can shoot in any conditions and cos it was a freebie it won't break your heart! Maybe thats why no one gives me rifles lol Quote Link to post

Marksman 934
looks spot on mate.... In future if you want to remove the satin etc from the chequering without harming it, use Nitromors on it, agitate with a toothbrush, then for the final bits use and iron and a cloth and steam it out Darryl Quote Link to post
