there are so many people keep slagging the lads off what people are calling the wrecking crew as we have seen footage of them dogs they would be gone the day after as the dvd of the wrecking crew was just for personnal use ,the dogs would not last 5 mins when lamping and the fox is at its best they would pull it or bark or hunt up ,i would guarantee that anyone of the dogs what you saw called the wrecking crew would pull them single handed never mind someone moaning there is a difference between day time foxes and night time foxes , night foxes are at there best and the footage i have seen of them dogs would hunt up on the lamp but i would guarantee that the lads who you people call the wrecking crew would do them single handed at the end of the day it is only entertainment but good on the lads for making it there is always someone who will complain

your right macky the crew get slated for pairing the dogs up yet the collie xs dont if the crews dogs skated round like them they would all being saying they are scared of the sharp end but with the collie x is because its clever or made the same noise there jacking im in no way having a go at the collies because they have great nose wind etc and do a good job on very hard ground its folk knocking anyone who puts a clip up of there dog be it the crew /lucas bulldozer yet i wonder how many have a dog that could do what the crews do night after night not many i bet and i mean most of the arse grabbing shite being bred today couldnt or how many can pull foxes in like they do or match there numbers everynight not many i bet so till you can just enjoy the films

hang on a minute ,....there is a huge difference between daytime and night time ........and ive seen footage of the wrecking crew stuff but maybe not enough to make a valid opionion......anyway i bet those dogs on hunting by day would put just as many lamped foxes in the bag..........be it paired up or single ,........a fox under the lamp may be fresh but the odds are more against reynard.............and dogs finding / tracking a fox by day and finishing them are exceptional as most lurchers wouldnt do that and we have to remember that they push a fresh fox to there limit and sometimes when found and pressed hard these lurchers can take alot quicker to catch there quarry than any hounds..........the difference being scent hounds versus sight hounds..........and my bet would be that on the lamp these collie x lurchers would put as many in the bag a night as those dogs on wrecking crew.........dispatch maybe more quicker with the crews dogs but you have to catch them first.........

whippet those dogs on hunting by day are second to none at what they do a aspect of lurcher work which is often over looked but with all due respect i dont think they would put away as many as the crew in a night they will catch more maybe but thats only half the job and when your taking numbers its when the pain and tiredness starts kicking in that is what i think will make them collies walk and i also think they will be found wanting at dispatching the crews numbers likewise with the crew doing there job on them hills horses for courses

I don't think they would bag as many lamping whippet99,by the looks of things they like to pick an choose there strikes and when the times right for the dog then there inn.i think you would lose a fair amount if ur lamping and ur dogs were like that.....but fair play to the man for getting out and putting the time in as he has..

Foxes would slip into darkness if a lamp dog fenced with them like that and who's to say a bullx couldn't hunt that terrain. Especially one with a bit of scent hound added or even a bit of pointer?? Nothing against the dogs or the guy that owns them I liked the video but to start saying bullxs couldn't or yhey could put as many away on lamp sounds a bit silly

ive been lamping fox with a gun on that type of land and over 4 long nights i think it is and countless hours in the day trying to flush one out, we saw 2 sets of eyes and flushed 1 in the day. i think any dog that can find a fox alone on its own, never mind kill it, is worth its weight. just my opinion from what ive seen in the vids.

The wrecking crew dogs could not hunt them hills like they coilles can and am sure them coillies could not kill big numbers on the lamp. But why do people always have to run down others ppl ways off hunting. Many people running down the coilles because they just dont storm in and take the teeth but you cant knock the way they can hunt them hills and get the job done nut they can sit back to much and let the fox get to ground as seen on the 1st dvd. People are saying the WC get grief because they double and the coilles dont but look at the differnce . One covering a mountain range the others are getting foxes called up tell a about 5 metres away with two dogs slipped and 3 lamps put on the fox but each till there own

Both pairs are doing what they love .... both pairs are different breeds ..which mean hunting styles are going to be different ..it all way come down to bull blood vs collie blood agian.....brain vs brut does it really matter they both do there job well...all a lad is asking if a DVD any good ..the shit threads always seem to go on for pages ...
