Yes, his name is Andrew Edwards.   They are probably my favorite lurcher films.   Always make me laugh at folk who knock them, saying the dogs pick their strike etc etc etc.   I'd love to see mo

To be honest, i've always found it a fox 'hunting' dvd. . . . .whereas something like wrecking crew is a fox 'killing' dvd. Whilst both make a good enough watch. . . . . I get tired fairly quick of watching a quick dash across a flat field in the lamp and a kill, over and again. Whereas i could watch those dogs work those hills for a fair old while.

Most of the good killing dogs you see about would never find charlie up there in the first place. I think a lot of folk under estimate what the dogs in the DVD do, because they have never hunted that kind of land in that kind of way, and have mainly just seen foxes taken under the lamp or flushed on fox drives ???? Maybe.

I believe also that some of those dogs have hound in them, which may account for some of the noise?

Whatever way you look at it, fox dogs or not, they find and kill a lot of foxes in a place where most would never see one.

Ideation Iam not in anyway crabbing those dogs, as you say they do find and finish a lot of foxs.

I know mate, sorry that wasn't really aimed at you, just following on from what you are saying.

I know where those dogs are running as do a few others here, and they make it look like there are a fair number of foxes about and if you go for a mooch you should knock a couple out. In reality it's not like that at all. Without the right kind of dog/s you could be out on those hills everyday and never see one.
