Bootsha 1,306
good footage of dogs working, hunting and catching. How on earth he keeps quiet when he's filming is beyond me, i dont think i could lol. Good Quality , Andrew Edwards i think is the chaps name, or it is on the vids i have seen. Good hunting dogs, good viewing and very well filmed in my opinion. I'd watch them again and enjoy them again. Just my thoughts on it. 1 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Yes, his name is Andrew Edwards. They are probably my favorite lurcher films. Always make me laugh at folk who knock them, saying the dogs pick their strike etc etc etc. I'd love to see most dogs find a fox on them hills. . . . . you are hard pressed to see ANY living thing, other than sheep. Them dogs are good HUNTING dogs. 6 Quote Link to post

Ideation 8,216
In all seriousness. . . . Andrew did VERY well, to put up and kill the number of foxes he did, on that land. It's hardly alive with them, and it's a bleak, hard land. There are a few lads on here that (when legal) hunted the hill like that, and it's a pretty specialized form of fox control, which takes a certain kind of dog. A lot of dogs could kill charlie, but very few of those same dogs could consistently find the fecker up there in the first place. There is a scene where the fox and dog run the walls. What a bit of footage! And what a place. Wales 1234 knows what I mean I think 6 Quote Link to post
