been out with the terriers this morning my lakey dog Harvey bolted a rabbit and off he went in pursuit across the local horse field and rabbit ran through the edge and onto the lane . Harvey still in pursuit and poor dog got hit by a car and killed instantly in completely devastated he was 1 off the best terriers ive ever owned done everything I ever asked and more . gutted rip harvey

Sorry about your loss, it bad when that happens. I have to ask though why was the driver a twat? It was not his fault, I don't know as I was not there, and I presume neither were you. But it could be that the driver never even seen the dog?

did you not get a reg/color/make of what car?most folk if they felt a bump would stop in a single track lane i know?i always get out and check-few times ive come around a bend and someone been stood there after hitting something down-ive got out and given the coup de grace-f***ing shit feeling when the dogs HEADING FOR THE ROAD IN HOT PURSUIT AND YOU SEE A CAR TRAVELLING ALONG atleast it was quick mate

Sorry to hear about this, very devastating to lose a dog, especially one that's proven themselves to you so much...

 

I'd be thankful it was fast, by angry about the car not stopping. Yeh accidents happen may have not been the drivers fault at all and they honestly didnt see the dog but surely they have felt the impact! You stop just for that surely?

if it was me i would be waiting for the cnut to come past again-they probably on way to work-so will use the road again-you get the colour/type car?i was under the impression that you had to stop if you hit a dog?i hope you catch up with them and let them know how you feeling bud-and report the pricks too.utter low lifes for not even waiting a few minutes.atb bobby
