Just heard gord burton has just had a really good pike, supposed to be 34 plus, that's a great catch and good to hear of gord doing the business, haven't seen a picture yet but looking forward to seeing one, he pulls some faces on his pics, he's a great character and i hear of him helping people every time he can, he doesn't seem to crave the limelight, he just does his own thing and still fishes his local waters regular, hopefully if a pic comes out someone can put it on here for all to see.

Never fished with Gord but I believe hes a riot quite a character,I know lads who have fished with him and say hes a great angler,does anybody know what happened to Fergie (John Ferguson) fished with him a couple of times ,the guys watercraft was excellent proper good craic too....he took some stick for mounting the head of a 30 hed caught that died after capture if I remember rightly this was from Esthwaite/Basenthwaite around early 90s,jealous b*****ds were slagging him off for trophy hunting lost touch with him not long after due to marital problems (mine)......we were planning a trip to Scotland the first time I met him was on I think Clifton Marina ,and he was sending a huge Koi livebait out trying to catch a particular fish he hadn't caught,first time I saw a bait boat used too.....
