Dreadful Legal Aid Changes

Recommended Posts

Just seen that changes to legal aid may stop the accused from engaging specialist lawyers like Clive Rees in hunting act cases. You'll end up with the local duty lawyer from Tesco. Legal fees insurance is even more vital. I would like to know from Clive if the report (yesterdays shooting times) is as bad as they say.

It's not just dependent on your bank balance.   Yes, if you are rich, you can hire a good lawyer, but at the other end if you are a scrounging, useless layabout, criminal, fraudulent piece of sh*t

Kick the working man/ low income in the nuts again by refusing his right to proper council. Cameron...your a complete cnut .

my pal had this mentioned in court yesterday, they sad he may qualify as he does not work but they could also decide that he won't qualify depending on 'circumstances of the case' I personaly think it more down to trying to get people to simply roll over and accept that its no longer a free country, personaly Id be more likely to play ball if they simply admitted they are proper skint and cannot afford to run country and simply asked for a handout instead of taking away peoples right to a proper defense, who sayssimply cos your in court that you are in fact in the wrong, if thats the case they may as well simply do away with the whoile process and allow the plods to ride roughshod over all of us, countries geting more and more like america soon there will only be justice for those with enough money to fend of any accusations levelled at them, fair do if we had a decent police force but fook me the state of some fo the plods I see week in week out at work amazes me

It's just decent people in the middle who are F**** over.

..but then again maybe now lawyers and solicitors will drop their f***ing prices if they ain't getting a constant stream of legal aid through their bank balances, the price they charge is just as responsible for the average working man or woman being denied access to good legal representation..
