I had a very fixed routine that used to work well for me... Had a off switch in my head, just curled up with 1 leg behind my ear and went to sleep...

Then i got a saluki pup with a 5minute bladder... By 5minute bladder i mean you had 5minutes to wake up and let him outside or he'd piss all over the hallway :censored: he was 12mths before he could sleep through the whole night without needing to be let out .. Now i hardly sleep at all

Cant switch off, i have the insomnia i suffered as a kid... Wake up 3/4am and end up bringing dog for a walk although come september id say this will come in handy and me and caine can go lamp a few conie

very interesting thread pete, i to have a f****d sleep pattern, even if i'm lnackered, body is crying out to sleep but head wont switch off. For example, yesterday morning, got up for work at 4.45am, came home from work at about 2.30pm, out in the garden planting etc etc, went and got two loads of firewood then, ( big trailer), came back unloaded them both etc, then went and finished planting beans unter security light settings, put up pea netting to stop any unwanted attention, got in after 10.30pm, absoloutely and utterly f****d.

Had a shower, went to bed, dozed off for 1/2 hr, lying then looking at the clock at 3.00am, alarm goes off at 4.45am again and away i go, still f****d from the day before, get home from work, had literally 20 mins kip in the chair and i feel refreshed !!!!! how the f**k is that ?????

i get (hallucinations) lot of times when been to sleep,? meaning i will wake up see movments in the bedroom, i scare the shit out of my wife lol . About month ago i saw the curtains been moved, so jump out of bed and go to grab whatever pulling them, another time i tried to pick a chair up to smash into the bedroom door, wife had to stop me it really scares her, the prob is i get violent. Same if i heard sombody down stairs i would go down like a bull in a china shop lol. I went to my GP and told him about it had to the wife was pissed off with it, the Doc said it was when i was in my (2nd) part sleep, and i was still a sleep when all these happens. :hmm: so what i do now is (try) and take no notice and keep thinking its a feckin dream  lol
